Inside the barracks inside the great hall is a pedastal with a list for training plans next to the guard duty sheet

Training list:

Add your name, date of training and if sparring partner or trainer is needed

If you want to volunteer as sparring partner add your name next to the request

Trainers will be allocated by the Drill Master of the Order

After training or sparing a report need to be submitted to the Drill Master

OOC: This is another activity to add more rp opportunities both on the forum and in Hookworth. Instead of just waiting for larger drills this thread should enable members to organise some personal training if a mentor is not available.
How it works is simple: add the name of the character and if the character needs a sparring partner to practise a bit, or a teacher who will work specifically to improve maybe a specific skill.

Sparring

Any squire, knight, oathsworn, commoner or guest can volunteer as sparring partner. If you are interested, reply to a post and add your name and for whom you volunteer as sparring partner.

The two characters can do the session in game at the barrakcks, or use the forum. If yoiu use the forum do not post it on this thread, but add a new one in the subsection Training. After a sparring both need to submit a report at the barracks. For this please add a a new thread in the subsection "Training"

Training

If you require a training only a knight can be added as a trainer - again this will be done voluntarily. The knight will then do a training session to improve the skill the trainee wants to improve. You can do that in game or on the forum. Please do not add the training itself on thread, but add a new one.

After the training both parties need to submit a brief report IC in a new thread in the "Trainign subsection".

This thread here should only be used to sign up or to volunteer.

I hope that this idea can add a bit more life to the life as squire and knight, and provide some RP opportunities.

Yes Aren, the training of a squire will count towards any potential promotion when we get the enw system in place. This is in adition to any training organsied with a mentor
