Hi all, just some heads-ups and notes:

I am planning on adding an element of GMing to the Rohan RP. This does not mean everything will be rolled. It means I will bring up encounters every now and then to keep you on your toes -- we are in Rohan after all, and other significantly more dangerous than Hookworth. But I will be bringing in and running encounters.

The different setting also means new factors ICly thay need to be addressed, including;

-What you are carrying ICly
-Injuries
-Tracking of belongings
-Keeping weapons up to scratch
-Comfort (warm/cold/pain etc)

None of the GMing I am planning will cause death or maiming to player characters. However, injury and illness is possible via wolves, arrows, poison, swords and so on... If there is anything you *really* don't want happening to your character, be sure to let me know. All injuries will be healable though :)

Thieves are possible. Be prepared for valuables and other nice things to go missing if you don't lock them away.

Weapons blunt, break and go missing. Fix or replace them ICly now and then or they might be less effective.

If it's snowing, put on a scarf and cloak. If it's raining, pull your hood up. I may bring weather up as a factor that affects your character, although I do know that KoE are pretty good at getting sick ICly ;)

Please think out exactly what you are putting in your IC pack before you depart for a journey. This is to avoid meta gaming where a rope magically appears in bags in the middle of the wilderness and so on. If you forget, your character forgets.

Due to IC constraints, certain comforts will not be available in the Eorlsmead tower. My character will explain once we get there, but please take into account that there is less access to food and drink and it is also more dangerous. This will essentially be a test of what realism methods you all like and don't like.

I also encourage you to RP little things, like sleeping, fetching water, weather and so on. They may bring up encounters, and will also add immersion. Not essential though :) Also -- the eventual base will need skills of all sorts. They will be taken by NPCs initially, but player characters can replace them at any time if they fit the bill and are willing.

Any questions, just you let me know!!

Hello Heth. As you know, my toon, Blackening, is Rohirum and I do need to lvl her up a little bit to really RP Rohan. But she loves wishes to go to Floodwend at the Hermit's House. She has a lot of things to do in Rohan and many horses to take care of and train. She likes horses better than people. Sorry for her introvert personality. She has A LOT of flaws and needs to grow into less of a jerk, but for now she's a mean, dark introvert.

Blackening is in Bree and needs to make a campaign from Bree to Floodwend, Rohan if interested. Or if anyone else in the Knights wants to help the Black, that might be fun. But, seriously, Blackening is not very friendly, so helping her might be difficult. She may just need to do it on her own, the punk! She has a lot of major flaws I have some thoughts in which they can be amended. I think she will always be dark. There is only ONE true reason why she has not served Sauron. O.o oh, so secretive. Lol.

Hiya Lily!
From memory, Floodwend is actually a very nice spot. We may spend some time there on the way to Hytbold if people need more time. And we make make this an "outpost" of sorts for lower levels or people unable to build Hytbold yet. What we do with that area will probably be up to character types and what everyone most prefers to do.
